Alan Elias is a globally recognized innovator and strategic visionary whose work spans business strategy, land development, and purpose-driven storytelling. But Elias’s impact extends far beyond the boardroom. He is a forward-thinking land developer, award-winning film producer, and cultural thought leader committed to projects that create real, lasting change.
In 2017, Elias founded his land development company and raised capital to acquire and entitle 75 acres at the base of Mount Elbert—Colorado’s highest peak. The result: AngelView, an exclusive collection of 18 premium three-acre homesites and an event center just 35 minutes from Aspen, overlooking 2,700 acres of pristine water.
Leading a team of engineers, attorneys, and land planners, Elias successfully directed the entitlement process and visionary design of this unique community—where luxury, wellness, and wilderness exist in perfect harmony.
Building on that success, Elias assembled a new investment group in 2022 to acquire an adjacent 80 acres. The next phase of development will feature 11 additional homesites along with plans for a lodge, wellness center, boutique retail, restaurants, guest homes, townhomes, and immersive glamping experiences.
In 2023, Elias and his partners acquired 123 acres on the Arkansas River just six miles south of Buena Vista, Colorado. Now known as E Bar Ranch, the property represents an ambitious evolution of his vision—offering high-country, equestrian riverfront living rooted in beauty, balance, and belonging.
In 2025, Elias launched Luxe Living, a development company formed in partnership with several joint venture partners to design and build Aspen-quality homes across his three communities—at a fraction of Aspen’s cost.
Beyond land, Elias is a passionate and purposeful storyteller. In 2019, he partnered with two-time Oscar-nominated director Gus Van Sant to produce AGE OUT, a feature film that explores the challenges young people face as they age out of foster care.

In 2020, Elias launched Red Balloon Studios, a film and media production company focused on storytelling that inspires cultural change and social impact. Built on a sustainable model that blends entertainment with global citizenship, Red Balloon develops powerful narratives that move audiences—and attract values-aligned investors. The studio is currently in pre-production on a major motion picture based on the life of one of the greatest humanitarians of all time.
